Our family ordered carnitas tacos, cheese enchiladas, a chili relleno burrito, and plenty of rice and beans—everything was fresh, full of flavor, and came out quickly. Everyone loved what they had, and the atmosphere was just as good as the food. It’s relaxed, welcoming, and the kind of place where you feel right at home, even if you’re just passing through. I may not be a local, but this spot is always on my list when I’m in town. Highly recommend! ”

“ Oh my gosh, this was so delicious. It was my first time eating here and I’ve been in Montrose over two years. I wish I would’ve gone sooner. lol I got a shredded chicken burrito that came with rice and beans inside. It was seasoned perfectly, and was kind of saucy and super yummy. I think the tortilla was homemade. Really good. I feel like this is more authentic Mexican food than some places I’ve been at. There is absolutely no atmosphere in the restaurant so don’t go there for that. I did not get my burrito smothered and honestly I didn’t need to. The burrito was so nice and juicy inside. It was so good . I took it to go. They gave me two green sauces which were delicious as well. When I got home, I realized how big this burrito is. I could only eat half of it. I saved half for later. It came to a little over 10 with tax and tip. I will definitely go back and I highly recommend Don Gilberto‘s. ”
